Bhutan

Music

Bhutan is an experimental morphing entity made up of two to four to six to more musicians who come together to spontaeously create and musically sculpt a sound inspired by the moment. From Yoga studios to dance clubs, to forested valley-scapes in the mountains of Britsh Columbia, a Bhutan sound journey may take various forms on the spectrum between electronic and acoustic.

Onstage a laboratory of equipment includings four+ laptops running Ableton Live, all shapes and sizes of MIDI controllers, and electronic drums merge with the organic sounds of didgeredoo, flute, Mbira, berimbau, various latin percussion, Tablas, Santoor, horns, slide guitar, and multi-part vocal to cultivate a next level musical experience for listeners and movers.

Bhutan could be classified as: Dub, Psychadelic, Trance, Hip Hop, Down Tempo, World Beat, Drum n Bass, Dubstep. Why even try .
